We are a group of headmasters from Lleida (a city near Barcelona) in Spain. We work in different secondary schools in the same city and we have set up a working group which allows us to share information, discuss educational policies, work on school management and establish links with the local educational government. Most of us are members of AXIA, which is the Catalan association of Headmasters.

We have been working together for three years and we are currently interested in exchanging information with other groups of headmasters around Europe in order to share and broaden our knowledge of school management. Some of our schools have also been granted the ISO certificate and are currently working on the EFQM model of management.

In order to do this, we would like to ask for a Comenius Multilateral grant. This would allow us to meet headmasters from other different countries and start working with them for a period of two years. We really think that the results of a joint study would undoubtedly be of some benefit for school leaders around Europe.

We would really appreciate it if you could pass this information to a headmaster or a group of the headmasters in your association that might be interested in joining the group. The deadline for applications for a Comenius project is the 19th of February, but this would be no problem as we would be in charge of filling in the application form.
